Bangalore: From April 1, RTPCR certificate proving Covid negative will be mandatory for all those entering Bangalore from outside of Karnataka. Health and Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar made the announcement.
The move comes after it was observed that there is a possibility of more cases in the city in the coming days and more than 60 percentage of the cases in Bangalore are inter-state travelers. The RT-PCR negative report test will be tightened for everyone from April 1st. He said the law would apply to people, including permanent residents, who come to the city from anywhere outside Karnataka.
